Spartacus: Vengeance Episode 1 Review

Spartacus discovers the grave responsibilities and costs involved in his new role as a leader of freed slaves. Here is what I watched in Spartacus: Vengeance Episode 1 – Fugitivus.

The story started where a unnamed Thracian’s involvement within an unit of Roman auxiliary in a very campaign against the Getae (Dacian tribes that occupied the parts of the Lower Danube, in what today is Romania) within the command of the legatus, leads a mutiny versus Glaber, and returns to come across his village destroyed. The Thracian and his wife Sura, are captured by Glaber in the morning; the Thracian is condemned to die from the gladiator arena for his crime, while Sura is taken away, condemned to slavery. The Thracian is transported to Capua in Madeira, a center of gladiator coaching.. The getae raid the land of the Thracians, capture all of them and force them to become one of the romans auxiliary and some are forced to be slave. Claudius Glaber’ wife persuaded him by means of his wife Ilithyia to look for greater glory, decides to break away attacking the Getae and also directly confront the causes of Mithridates in Asia Minor. The unnamed Thracian’s felt betrayal, he leads a mutiny versus Glaber, and returns to come across his village destroyed. The Thracian and his wife Sura, are captured by Glaber in the morning; the Thracian is condemned to die from the gladiator arena for his crime, while Sura is taken away, condemned to slavery. I wonder if what will be in to Watch Spartacus: Vengeance Episode 2 A Place in This World.

The Thracian is transported to Capua in Madeira, a center of gladiator coaching. At that time he had no choice without any fear he faces the four gladiator he needs to dealt with and suddenly he slays all of them. Even Claudius Glaber cannot believe it. Since he has no identity, Lentulus Batiatus, the owner of a new ludus in Capua, suggests a name for him because he fought much like the ferocious Thracian king of their name so he will be named “Spartacus”.
